One year after our founding, we have taken the step of starting our blog! Before continuing with a brief summary of what you will see here, we want to tell you a little about us.

The idea of ​​creating Shop Tropical Edge arose a couple of years ago, with the desire to bringing the products of Latin American entrepreneurs and artisans to the rest of the world. When Natalie Sampson was completing her master’s degree abroad, she noticed how her colleagues and friends liked many of the pieces that she had from Panamanian creators, but they couldn’t buy them. At that time, there were no multi-brand stores that would carry Panama’s products abroad. One of the biggest problems creators face when starting out is getting their product to market, especially in an international market. That is why our mission is to be the link between the small designers, artisans and creatives of the region with the rest of the world. We started in June 2020, since it became necessary to have an online presence that would allow us to reach the public both in Panama and abroad.

This platform contains a curated selection of products from different regional brands. We start with those located in Panama, the country where we were born, and we will soon offer products from other areas of the region.
